Devlog 3
1. In your area, what
were your team's?
We are in the final build in our game. We added sound, music, adding more design, and bug fix.
2. In your area, which of these goals have been
accomplished by the team?
All of them had been accomplished.
3. In your area, what are
the team's goals for next week?
Our goal is to try to improve everything we do so we don’t have any problems when we present our game.
4. As an individual, what
have you accomplished
in the past week?
At the time I was finishing the title screen for our game. Kirn and I had problems trying to add my animation to the title screen which I think we are going to remove. I improve the site design. I help in improving the design of the game. I help in suggesting some ways to improve the game play.
5. As an individual, what
will you accomplish by
next week to stay on time?
I’m going to try to help Kirn all I can.
6. As an individual, what
Will you need to learn to accomplish these goals?
I need to learn how to better design our game.
1. What were you
playtesting? For
example, an analog
prototype with a
description, a specific
level of the alpha build, etc.
We were playtesting the gameplay of the game.
2. What did you want to learn through this playtest?
I learned that a lot more people were having more fun than last time. But I have to guess the main reason they do is that they already know what they play and the game has fewer bugs. Everyone likes the new fix movement, and the power up did look like it balanced the game.
3. Who were your
playtesters? Do they
represent your target
audience?
Our classmate
4. What did you observe?
What did you see when
they were playing? Did
they interact the way you expected?
When the power up is used, people get confused so we need some kind of indication to show it on. Also everyone had a hard time telling which is player one or two, or which side of the points are there's.
5. What questions did
you ask your playtesters after they played the game?
Did you have fun?
Is there anything we can improve?
6. What feedback did constantly
you receive from your players?
We need an indication for our power up.
7. What, if anything, will you do with that
feedback? Did you learn anything?
There is a power up indication.
There is an in game tutorial.
